Initial Brief
Located at the heart of Edinburgh's historic Fountainbridge district, Springside offers 476 homes designed exclusively for rent including a mix of studios, one to three-bed apartments and town houses.
UK Developer Moda Living appointed Robertson to deliver phase one of Springside, its first build-to-rent development in Scotland.
Residents will have access to lounges, dedicated health and wellbeing zones, a games room and dining club with terrace views
towards Edinburgh Castle. This 'all-in' approach is unique in the private rental sector and aims to deliver a new way of living and
renting that puts wellbeing and community at its heart.
A valued engineered approach was proposed by ATS which provided the client a cost effective and programme enhanced solution including 50mm of Cemfloor over TLA150 and acoustic matting covering 2,414m2 and a total of 122m3 of Cemfloor liquid screed which was produced through Energy Screed’s Transmix.
The quick application process reduced labour requirements, minimising workforce on-site and allowing other trades to proceed sooner.
Cemfloor’s quick drying times, ease of application, and superior performance characteristics provided an ideal solution, ensuring the project was completed on time and to the highest standards.
